True Ladder Line and Wire Antennas

Save money and time! Purchase your open wire fed dipole assembled.

Here's something to try that I did. Go to your Big Box home improvement store or the local hardware store. Most won't sell spools of the gauge and quality wire that I use. To make one, 10-160M doublet with a 100' feed line with continuous wire from the feed point to the end insulators, you'll need to purchase TWO full, 500' spools. They run an average of $45-$50 each for a rough total of $100. Add a package of eBay spreaders for about $40, including shipping and then figure how much time you have to mess with tangled wire, measuring, cutting and so forth. You'll thank me for making it easy on you!
