    Best dipole I ever used!

    Posted by Chris - K1AY on 4th Dec 2022

This is the second time I've purchased this antenna. It's that good. Hurricane Ian took down all my antennas, including my True Ladder line W7FG multi-band dipole with open wire feed. It loads up on any band, and the super low-loss characteristics of the open wire line are the best part. Don't underestimate the ruggedness of this antenna - it survived Hurricane Irma, a massive storm who's eye went 13 miles east of me. The only reason it came down this time is a tree fell on the ropes holding it up. This is a rugged, well-built, super performing multi-band dipole. And the company is prompt and easy to communicate with. I'm a fan.

    Only time will tell....

With a simple antenna like this the main requirement is that the materials will stand up to the elements for a reasonable length of time. The insulators and wire insulation appear to be of very good quality.

    Best doublet I've ever used

Posted by Mike, WO1U on 21st Sep 2016

I was impressed by how well it was packaged, no tangles occurred and it went up without any difficulty. 85 feet at one end, 70 at the other. The feedline was trimmed to about 60' feet and connected to a DXE 1:1 current balun. 10' of RG213 coax into the shack and Heath 2060 tuner. It was surprising just how quiet this antenna is. In many QSOs using my KX3, I get comments disbelieving I am only running 12W. At least some of this performance is due to a great antenna. Yes, a dipole is a dipole, but the 600 ohm feed is lowest loss, and no splices or lugs between the feedline and the antenna both contribute to the best possible performance. Highly recommended!!!
